“I joined the Tobias Registry after one of my brothers shared a story on Instagram. I clicked on it and read a bit about what it was about and then pressed “I want to join” without any hesitation.
Sure enough, soon the phone rang and I was informed that a match had been found who was in urgent need of my stem cells. I remember so well that I said, “Go ahead, what happens now?”. And that I received the reply: “You don’t want to think about it?”. But I thought there’s nothing to think about, I joined for a reason, so here we go!
And not even 6 months later, I have done a donation with great values and lots of stem cells, so hopefully this will work now!
I have always been concerned about other people; I have always wanted to help others as much as I can.
Should I be asked again to donate to someone, I will not hesitate, not for a second, the little I had to do to help someone is for me an obvious choice.
Imagine having the opportunity to give another person a second chance in life, to give them hope.
I know how many relations out there feel, unfortunately.
